Y no solo yo.
Cuentos, poemas, pensamientos poco ortodoxos y sirenas.

Erick (Love will tear us apart)
-¿Y
te has enamorado? ¿O
prefieres amantes de una noche?
-Sí,
búrlate del viejo...
-¿Y
bien?
-Pues...
sí, lo
admito, he tenido muchísimas amantes.
Triste,
¿no? Mi único amor y no fue correspondido.
-Bueno
pero, supongo que pudiste acercártele.
-Eso
sí. Fuimos
Annik.
-...no
hablas en serio.
-¿Sobre
qué?
-No
era él. No puede.
-¿Porqué
no?
perderle.
-¿Qué
amabas más de él?
-Me
conquistó su tristeza. Su rabia. Toda esa intensidad oscura que
emanaba siempre.
loco. Me hubiera odiado. Pero... de habérselo dicho... tal vez
estuviera vivo aún. Sabes, aún recuerdo ese fin de semana. Lo vi
después de que habló con las dos. Estaba devastado...
-¿Y qué pasó?
-Sabes, no... no quiero seguir.
-¿Y qué pasó?
-Sabes, no... no quiero seguir.
empeorarlo. Así que sólo... lo dejé desahogarse. No pude decir
ver cómo él me veía.
-...
-¿Crees...
que encuentres a alguien así de nuevo?
-Si
lo hago lo sabrás.
-¿Yo?
¿Porqué?
-Me
agradas. Confío en tí.
-Es
algo más.
-Tal
vez. Pero ahora debo irme.
-¿El
amanecer?
-Y además tengo sed, si entiendes a qué me refiero.
-Entonces hasta pronto. Espero.

Despair (english)
She comes home only to cry on the bedroom. Everything around her is just a bunch of bullshit, so filth, but not only cause the full house is unclean. Since she can recall, the word "despair" pursuits her, like fleas to a mongrel.
Her husband gives pats on her back, not to confort but to understand. And therein lies their disgrace: almost half a century together, and he still cannot wreck her wall. The fucking mental wall she keeps building against the whole world -him more than no one– since they were just kids, listening the echoes of a bloody Tlatelolco at the radio, in the store in front of high school.
Not even the sacred vow of a life together is enough. For her, he is not a support; not even trustworthy; but the worst of all is that she is not the one who wants it that way. But the paradigm of her childhood at La Petrolera is stronger than her willing to trust the only one that, despite his almost deaf-mute personality, trust her.

But the paradigm of her childhood at La Petrolera is stronger than her willing to trust the only one that, despite his almost deaf-mute personality, trust her.
The minor disappointment will be at school 'til sunset, ignoring all that is happening at home, while the bigger one keeps listening while hiding in plain sight, not even breathing. Luckily (?) the most feared words doesn't appear at the conversation, and its immature heart goes back to a normal beat. Unfortunately, and as a part of the problem, it can't help the ones behind the bedroom's door.
Words like "robbery", "fraud", "disrespect", "gossip" or "idiot”, escape from the poorly sealed enclosure of the master bedroom. The usual and already known bullshit. The same crap that keeps going since a year ago, the same as always, plus the newest crap that came out just this weekend. Both of them are so jaded, so sick and tired...
And Despair is the only one, the only occupier, along with the dog, who lives at home on those four walls. The gray monster that crawls under the beds, feeding with her crying, with his guilt, with the minor disgrace's nihilism and the invisibility of the big one. And knowing it all, none of them is brave enough to take the broom and kick it out through the front door. Sometimes, someone trows the meat knife to the nearest inhabitant, in a failed attempt to threaten it so it goes away and never come back. With screamings that, for the deaft monster, are nothing but a small voice.

Angel (english version)
Cover her face.
Mine eyes dazzle.
She died young.
Mine eyes dazzle.
She died young.
-John Webster
Friday the 10th, June.
About 22.00 hrs I started crying for no reason. I was on my own, watching a movie (Princess Diaries, I found myself guilty) then I suddenly broke in tears, like if I were in a burial. Hours before, I read the previous verse in an Anne Rice novel, recited by a heartbroken Lestat, to an inquisitive Claudia.
Never thought I would remember the verse again.
Saturday 11th. Morning.
The day started quietly for me, with a light breakfast -as always- and background music while reading Facebook's newsletter. Then, a note made me stop. All I could read was Christina Grimmie, young and beloved singer -whom my sister and I followed from her first steps- died at 22.
The world suddenly stopped as I waited the page to load. It's a joke, I thought at first. It's just a bad joke.
It was an accident, I thought later, It MUST BE an accident. She was a good girl, it HAD TO BE an accident.
FOUR GUNSHOTS.
One more, and the resemblance with John Lennon would have been chilling. Four gunshots. Three in the chest and one in the head. All in front of the fans and the supporting band. In front of her brother, who had to tackle the murderer before he harmed someone else.
It was hard to break the news to my sister, and she didn't believed me at first. I was in total shock all day. All I could say was a single question:
Wich kind of monster does that to a child?
I mean, I know she was not a child anymore. But at the same time, she actually was. A tender, warm and nice child. The kind of artist you want your children to admire. You looked her in the eye, even in photos, and you could see such a sweet and childish aura, you could see she would never harm someone on purpose.
Christina was someone's sister. Someone's baby. The Beacon of Hope of so many kind children like her, and for many adults too.
And yet, she was killed in cold blood.
I have so many questions right now, none for God as we are used to, but for Kevin James Loibl, the name of the devil in this tragic ocassion.
What in the world did she do? Did she break your icy heart? You were on your 30's and she wasn't even a full-grown adult, what did you expect?
Did someone tell you to do it? Did your hear voices in your head? How long did you plan it? Because it was so obvious you planned it, you son of a bitch. No one carries a weapon to a family event.
What the hell you wanted to try? Were you a copycat? Wanted to be a brand new David Chapman? ¿The next Catcher in the Rye?
Besides, you did it so she would suffer. A slow and painful death. The kind of death people would wish for somebody like you. But you booked the quick one for your self, you sucker. It couldn't be other way, right? They shouldn't catch you, not alive. Because they caught you.
I guess it was the best choice, I don't think you would survive for long, with all that hate over you.
I wanna cry but I can't. Can't believe it yet; and ironically, I feel so much hate now. Ironically, cause she had not wanted it that way. She wasn't a "hater". I dare to saymaybe she could forgive it. Because she was that way: a kind and talented girl, full of love and faith.
She was an Angel.
She is an Angel now.
Ángel
Cubrid su rostro,
me deslumbra;
ha muerto joven.
-John Webster
¿Acaso emulabas a alguien?
Quiero llorar y no puedo.

Back to Labyrith
I apologize for posible mistranslation. Soundtrack's at the bottom.
Back to Labyrith
Since the day she decided to come back, Sarah kept looking at the horizon for years, from the highest tower of Goblin Castle.
The yellow dawns at Labyrith became opaque, and the creatures of the Kingdom started losing their magic, and even their will, but not for nothing. After the marvelous wedding, with masquerades and their magic song, Jareth was called by Sandman himself for a mission in an unknown place for him, but so well known for the new Goblin Queen: the magic-less land of humans.
And with Jareth, the magic also disappeared from Goblin Kingdom.
Hoggle the Gnome was knighted as Sarah's Champion, so he could take care of her and be a guide in her royal duties, 'til Jareth's return. But even if he succeeded in his purpose, Hoggle couldn't help but looking at Sarah without feeling worried.
-Do you think he'll be back?-he asked with his raspy voice, playing with the jewelry on his clothes.
-I don't think so. I know he'll be back.
-I don't know... it has been so long, Sarah.
-It took me a long time to be back, remember?-she said-Did you ever give up on me? or him?
Hoggle sighed, Sara was right after all.
-None of us- he said-although Ludo got so unbearable...
Sarah smiled, while the hairy giant was playing with the stones he used to call on the Living Garden.
A fanfare was heard all over the castle, and a few minutes later, Sir Ddymus was at the door, gasping and half dead tyred.
-Milady... you need to come...
Riding on Ludo's shoulders, and accompanied by all the Goblins in their finery, Sarah went all the way back trough the Labyrith, for the first time in years. Nobody dared to stay on her way, and the ones that could opened doors and passages where there was none. The Queen's heart was beating so hard, while the sunset got its golden color back, and the air filled with the old silver spark.
Finally, there was a point where Ludo couldn't pass anymore. Sarah let herself drop and kept going til Labyrith's Gate, holding her heavy and luxuryous dress while she was running as if there were no tomorrow; closely followed by Hoggle and Didymus, always riding his loyal dog Ambrosius.
-Open the Gates!-yelled the little knight-Open the Gates in the name of the Queen!
-Sarah!-gasped the gnome, droping his heavy jewelry while he was trying to reach her-for the Dwarves' sake... Sarah! Wait for me!!!
But all she could hear was the beating of her own heart, finally feeling complete. The Gates opened once she arrived.
There he was. The Prince of Stories himself, with a robe made of the Night, shiny black eyes and a crooked smile that unnerved her for a moment.
-You've been waiting for so long, Goblin Queen.
Sarah settled her skirt without saying a word. Sandman's presence was very intimidating, even when he smiled. Finally, she asked:
-¿Have you seen him? How is Jareth? When he come back?
Sandman smiled even more. This time, a kind and -somehow- human smile. On his robe, at the heart's hight, a falling star passed by.
-He has done unbelievable things with human spirit. Things I've never been able, and couldn't do without his help. He created the most amazing magic, and brought hope where there was none. But I know he also took away the magic in here. And I don't think he could efford one more day without you.
And then, Morpheus departed, so the Goblin King could get back home.
All night long, joy and enchantment got back to the Kingdom. Jareth brought new songs, songs that inmediately taught to his subjects. The Magic Dance was -well- danced for the first time in years, even Dream, who was also invited, wanted to dance.
At the end, at the 13th hour, Jareth took his jubilant wife, while the tender chords of the waltz filled the air. They looked each other to the eye, finally feeling complete.
-I promised you-Jareth whispered, while Sarah shivered in his arms.-I'll be there for you... as the world falls down.
And while they danced, the morning was painted in gold.
